Are Black "Daughters" Wiser than their Moms??
Sufficiently educated young women of color are beginning to be heard, complaining of being "air-brushed" out of Black Female news stories and supplanted by white-female concerns. Bill and Hill capitalized on this phenomenon for more than a decade, but, just maybe, the young females won't give them a "pass" anymore? Flo Kennedy pleaded with Black Women in an address of Feminist Issues on the Kansas University Campus in Lawrence; imploring them to wake up to this; in 1976. Her message fell on deaf ears.
Today, there's news that the Medical Profession, Professional (and College) Sports; and Our Criminal Courts; all of them INSTITUTIONAL, RACIST organizations in our nation, are being challenged in new ways:
The FCC is putting the screws to the NFL over the slurs to Native Americans. In Democracy In America, DeTocqueville notes in the 1830s that black males become "chattel" while they are in the womb. That is still true in the economic model for Organized Sports today. They "use" the wombs of Black Women to produce their "raw material" for a despicably lucrative enterprise that "traps" women, psychologically, emotionally, and economically. White women show no concern; evidenced by the rapidity with which they "air-brushed" the black woman in the elevator out of the national news story. Black female victims, most often keep quiet to protect their "investments"! Not too different from the behavior of the wives of sleazy politicians as they "stand by their man"??
Black and Brown Doctors practicing in the Sewer States (confined there by racism in the Medical Profession, widely practiced since before Blacks were first admitted to Medical Schools in the 1930s); are being exposed by what these, often "immigrant" doctors have to do to "make a living". Minority patients, and, because of Ebola happening on the watch of the Guv'na from N*ggerhead in Texas; ALL of us; are at greater risk of death due to the long-standing wedding of the Medical Profession to institutionalized "Eugenics" (check out their services to Hitler and the "experiments" they performed on Holocaust victims). Black and Brown males have derived minor "spill-over" benefits from the Profession's preferences for MALE medical issues; but, not so, for females; and, especially BLACK females.
Finally, the second murder trial of Dunn, showed that is IS POSSIBLE for whites to convict, and perhaps begin to BLAME white males for their transgressions (of all types) against persons of color?
We can all HOPE?
Stay Vigilant! Perhaps, the long-awaited AWAKENING among persons of color, is beginning?
