TRUMP, ASSAD, PUTIN, and NETANYAHU, may be "Riding High" today; but; you can continue to produce all of the Dylaan Roofs, or wicked white COPS who choose to hunt non-whites for their "Sport"; and, all of their wicked supporters inside our "Justice" System: and, those on TV who "shade" their infections of White Supremacy; and there will be too many of us who have enough HEART; to permit our America to DIE, and become some "heartless" caricature designed by these individuals!

Since Alexis de Tocqueville studied our approach to imprisoning people in 1830, and wrote Democracy in America, the World has known that this Nation was inflicted by some Evil that it could not, or would not expunge!! Why? The Evil pathway was trod along a road that led from Latin America where Fascism was injected, to Willie Lynch and the Slave Trade. That Evil led to JIM CROW after our Civil War. America became the home of the Fascism that was embraced by Adolph Hitler. Far Right-Wing politicians welcomed it back home with open-door immigration for Hitler's supporters.

Yet; as President Obama has clearly shown the World; "That's Not Who We Are", in 2016!! Those who took time to listen to ABE of Japan at the Shrine to Pearl Harbor, know this to be true!! TRUTH, and TRUST cannot live in a World, or an ECONOMY, ruled over by the 4 Horsemen who ride high today!

Modern Media, and it's dissemblers like Andrea Mitchell, and Joe Scarborough,who struggle mightily to hide their support for this gaggle of 4, show Dr. Goebbels and Tokyo Rose just how far we have come since 1945! The Curies made the deadly mistake of thinking radioactive uranium was a TOY.! It has not been unusual for scientific breakthroughs to attract approach, first, by weapons or toy makers! Media has become the WEAPON, itself, in the 21st Century.

To MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN; by their logic and manipulations, this Country will have to fool too many people for TOO LONG!!

A Faction is now hosted within the Republican Party, and it is busy carving up what is left of our Constitution. The months ahead will, undoubtedly, be rough ones for the USA!

President Obama spoke to our Troops today in Tampa -- His Farewell Address to the Troops. READ IT! It contains all the values my generation, and those before me held dear, and fought for, and, are being pillaged for big bucks, in great haste, before the World.

Thanks to all who have read the OWL since it took flight on the Internet in 2011. It provides a Chronology of,what History may recognize, as the waning days of our American Democracy. A Faction, fashioned from the worst of our PAST events, demonstrates its lust for Power and Wealth. There have been 37000 readers, both at Home and Abroad; and almost 1500 Blogs posted.

Our Founders did leave a Trap Door in our Constitution, however. Electors to the Electoral College are elected, in their own Right, to Vote their Consciences!! One Republican, from Texas, with others who will surely follow, has come forth, to declare his Love for Country over Power for the Party, however, and will NOT vote for the Republican Nominee who is now declared President-Elect!. 39 more such Voters could still save our Democracy!

Twenty years ago, Jim Lehrer stopped in Albuquerque to promote his book, Purple Dots. I bought a copy, and gave Jim a copy of my 1972 Thesis: American Values in Black and White (UNM).. After hearing Lynne Cheney, Reagan's choice for Chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities, spew so much misinformation on Race and Racism in the USA, I decided to hand out free copies to our media Talking Heads; as my small attempt to give them an historically accurate accounting that they were either unaware of, or chose toignore, to deliberately spread Racial Propaganda. So far, I've made my "awards" to more than 100 of our prominent media sources.

In my conversation with Jim Lehrer, I asked when he would announce a replacement for Charlayne Hunter-Galt who had departed for South Africa. Very shortly thereafter, we were gifted with Gwen Ifill. I have always felt there was some connection. Whatever prompted Jim to do so, Gwen's short tenure with us has been a Blessing for Millions of People!!

Because of an historic "White-lash" Vote for President of the United States, we have an Elect that remains a mystery to our Citizenry in profound ways. BORDERS between "Right and Wrong" "Respect and Dis-respect" and our concepts of Morality, Fair Play, Good vs. Evil, have all been cast into the TRASH that characterized the 2016 Presidential Campaign! As a result, what will our children become? Multi-Cultural versions of Dylaan Roof?? All of the values we cherished in a person like Gwen, were forsaken by the winners of the Election of 2016.

how do WE (all) "Survive" TRUMP??

is it nowTIME for People of Color, and their Genuine Fellow Citizens, to GET-It-Together!??

We're on our fourth day of the Global Shock delivered by TRUMPSTERS!! As of yet, there's NO

ASSURANCE, that works, for those scared enough to take to the streets! Trumpsters have just

"blown a hole" in the bottom of the Titanic" that provides their only means of transport; and, whatever hopes they had for not only their (white's-only WE; but also the WE that genuinely includes us all!!

There seems to be no Obama on the horizon to patch this hole, like he did the one the Republicans left for us in 2008!

I am reminded of my own fear in the 1950's, when I see our school children taking to the streets in terror, in 2016. My Grandfather calmed my fears by carefully explaining the situation for me. Brown v. Board scared me by the threat that I would be forced, as a high school senior, to finish my last year in a white school, in a rigidly Segregated State. His advice served well, as I used it to protect my children from the abuses of the Public Schools that were put in place by the JIM CROW Backlash, unfurled in the 1970's.

White Talking Heads on T.V. proclaim that they do not understand why White Voters who voted for Obama, now voted for TRUMP. Those talking heads appear ignorant of the fact that JIM CROW has always operated by the knowledge of JIM CROW Presidents, of TWO Black Americas! They were established when JIM CROW was created; to maintain the benefits of Chattel Slavery. They are BOOKER T. WASHINGTON America; and FREDERICK DOUGLASS America. These two Americas allowed the formation of our present White America "Bubble" ; making it possible to keep JIM CROW's benefits intact, forever!

BOOKER gave us Clarence Thomas and Condoleeza Rice: who were so handy to the Bush era. No Clarence? No Bush v. Gore, Cheney. Iraq, and so forth.

DOUGLASS gave us Thurgood Marshall: who gave us Brown v. Board, and many of the Civil Rights victories that have come in so handy for white women, Gays, Hispanics, and the rest.

Daddy Bush, dedicated himself to making sure our Supreme Court would have "Conservative" Blacks like Clarence, and Lee Atwater, and Roger Ailes -- who made TRUMPSTERISM possible. Their stated goal is to lock JIM CROW inside our Supreme Court -- forever!

Stay Vigilant! Everybody, Check your Mirrors: whatever your image, from "chalk to charcoal", you can "unzip" the two Black Americas, at will, and feign ignorance, all-the-while, perpetuating our Peculiar Brand of RACISM; forever! Our Survival depends on our ability to understand this, and, come to some consensus for what to do about TRUMPSTERISM!! (Incidently, Obama was not BLACK in the thinking of many whites -- his roots are not included in either Black America!!)

Before we plunge blindly into the next round of JIM CROW that is being staged for us by the Republican "Barbarians", as they busily prepare for the 2016 election results; Citizens, of ALL skin shades, should strive to learn from someone who is a different shade than themselves; exactly HOW they perceive the World they occupy!! BLACKS, as Willie Lynch makes clear, much learn from BLACKS of different skin colors, generations, gender, sexual orientation, and Region of Birth!!

The Obama years have shown to the entire World the many "different" Realities we each inhabit. Some effort must be made to quickly learn from someone we have been sure are "beneath" us! If so, BLACKS can begin by Google-ing Willie Lynch, and explain it to their children? Whites, who have insisted on controlling what is taught to our children in schools, have been engaged in much more than taking power from the PTA!! I have, on many occasions, found by "dropping in" on classrooms my children attended, horrific lessons coming from the mouths of (mostly white women) teachers. I never hesitated from challenging those crimes I caught being committed. I have changed Teachers, and Schools, to protect my children from "brainwashing" and ignorant "teachers".

Blacks have survived, mostly, by being inventive, and by being what we, today, call "street-smart" . That practice has launched our recording industry, and made a lot of whites rich. A nation-wide "Teach-IN" could work wonders. Unfortunately, the Republicans have taught us all they know; and that "ain't good" (for anybody)!!

Stay Vigilant! Let's not allow this election to simply put "lipstick" on the JIM CROW pig, and "spin" it forward into the 21st Century??

Yesterday's Speech in New Hampshire, describes, in "un-spin-nable" language, the home-grown Monster, that threatens our future as a Nation; like none before now. Our Country, in a long-running "Backlash" to FDR, has been driven to the Hard Right, by Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan, most notably. This movement to the Right, has produced a Republican Party that has fed Fascism for too long, and now faces a fattened, appeased, and powerful group of Citizens, who will not be deterred from their beliefs by any facts, or revelations that don't spring from within their own, peculiar, "Religion"??

Seven years ago I decided to write down my "take" on what was unfolding in the United States, as the "Cracker" element of White America reacted to the first Black President in our History. My grandchildren are too young to understand, in language they would grasp, what transpired, and how it came about. Approaching 1500 Blogs on the Internet, now, I am sure my decision to do this is a good one. Since the Global Criminal Elements find the Internet useful for their purposes, as well, as States that sponsor Terrorists; chances are that the Web will survive well into the future. Congratulations to those of you who hung in there, and followed THE OWL the entire way.

Unfortunately TRUMP, and his MEDIA hounds, have one more Debate to inflict upon the world! We have to wait another week for it, though. Twenty days later, we'll know what USA Voters will decide.

From Tom Delay, in 2003, on; we could "smell the (GLOBAL) rats" as they climbed on-board the Republican Raft, destined for our Sewer States! Mormon Republicans in Utah are pulling up stakes in one helluva hurry, as Mike Lee breaks his embrace of Trump. Where does this leave terrible-teddy CRUZ and master Marco RUBIO??

Hoping to clean their skirts, and avoid a complete Turnover of the House of Representatives, a month from now; they're trying to get TRUMP to resign, voluntarily!! I'm sure TRUMP has more of his special language reserved for their answer??

Several years ago, I met a FRENCH visitor to the U.S., during an intermission at a Concert.

The subject of the FRENCH REVOLUTION came up, and I half-muttered "sometimes, I feel we need one here" . Her response was immediate -- don't even THINK that! She went on to explain that France, in the 21st Century, is still plagued by that Revolution. On reflection, it takes many years, and too much blood-shed to recover any kind of stability from that kind of upheaval in any culture.

Reflect upon the years of economic hardship, and mega-death, that followed the rise of a German Megalomaniac, and the resulting VOTE that lost their Democracy, in 1933.

Then, consider the LOSS of WEALTH!!

They have demonstrated, since 2008, that they have no interest in GOVERNING the United States!

It may turn out that TRUMP and his "true-believers", may become "Marks" in their own CON game!! This Lot, clearly lacks the Strength to hold on to any "Victory", should TRUMP win. I will VOTE Early!!

I voted for the first time at the age of 21 (minimum eligible age, then) in 1960! 2016 may very well be my last vote in a Presidential Election in this "Land of the Free and Home of the Brave".

The WAR of my life-time was the COLD WAR. Vietnam, was really a FRENCH incursion that went awry, dragging us into it.

I can report, proudly, that I fought valiantly for the USA, for twenty years, on the front lines; standing alone often, to preserve our bulwark TRIAD, to use against our Foe.

We won that War! That's why it's imperative that we not let someone, so adept at mesmerizing a significant segment of our population, to "open the door" to our enemies, both foreign, and domestic!

Many of the scientific and technical discoveries we made to win the COLD WAR have found their way into, what we all know as Silicon Valley. One strange outcome of those developments, include a "Alice-in-Wonderland" reality that MEDIA spins for TRUMP, and his fellow "deal-makers"! The Republican Gang that has captured both Houses of our Congress, does not care much for GOVERNING our Country. They have seized upon every conceivable method to sow distrust and disrupt our government (all levels) function, and to cripple our Infrastrucure, through neglect.

These Thugs have a lot of company around our Globe, today! From Syria to Moscow, we see Governments under siege; many of them have turned, murderously, against large percentages of their own citizens in a fight to their death, with no holds barred! Black America, and their well-meaning White supporters, must NOT fall, again, for that old "sucker-punch" proposing "more dialog on Race" !! The shock of Blacks being mistreated on TV has, long ago, worn off, for White America! TRUMP and his followers know this! Expecting it to work, yet, one more time, is frankly, insane!

Catholics, after their Inquisition in Mexico, concocted 16 races, for purposes of delineating status among persons of color, relative to Whites. The British system, in what is today the United States, reduced that number to 2: White and Black (everybody who was non-white). Only WASP Males of Wealth, were clearly accepted as White, from our beginning. President Jackson widened that definition to include White Males who were neither Protestant, nor Wealthy. The problem in Mexico was that Whites who were not born in Europe could not be accepted as White!! This caused Hildalgo and Allende to literally lose their heads!

Too many Black Americans, and their well-meaning white supporters fail to recognize the difference Jackson made to the "Race Dialog". Most oher citizens did also, until 2008, when Whites with Wealth, threw poorer Whites, back "under the (economic) bus" ; from which they had been freed by LBJ, along with Blacks, in 1960's Civil Rights and Anti-Poverty Legislation. It's time to move-on??

Truth is, the DIVISIONS that are so obvious to everyone today, as Election 2016 draws nearer, have

ALWAYS been here! They're simply harder to hide in the wake of the Repoob Wreckage of 2008!!

Blacks, Native Americans, and the Very Poor, of all Colors, have continuously faced the TERROR meted out by Politicians and Governments in the USA, since our Founding!! Biases, so readily expressed by individuals 50 years ago, have become INSTITUTIONALIZED today; permitting individuals to pretend they are bias-free! No person of Color, or of female gender, with sound minds, will buy into the Group-Think our MEDIA is dishing out. Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, John Kennedy, and perhaps, Barack Obama will rate the History Books as "rattlers" of the status-quo, but Education is being destroyed by "School Choice" (pay to learn); Crooked Judges, Cops, Prosecutors, etc, have permanently rigged our Justice System to withstand any serious attempts for change. Must the USA have it's own TALIBAN, to become "GREAT" (again)??

Until I was about to choke on the images relayed, I watched TRUMP deliver his "diatribe" against his list of "bad people"; to the mesmerized delight of his deeply religious and virtually all white audience, today.

As a 100% disabled Black Veteran who spent decades on the front lines, pursuing technology break-throughs, in search of ways to win the Cold War; I am particularly saddened to see the potential for our arsenal falling into the hands of a theocratic, radically-ignorant, band of our citizens; who advocate for what could become a home-grown Taliban!! Foreign interventions in this process have also become openly visible in our MEDIA. .

Putin visited the United States, twice, in 2001, and mesmerized "W" Bush with his 'baby-blues".

Not so impressed, has Obama been with Putin. Rightfully so! This guy is more ruthless than Stalin and Hitler, combined!! Obama had this guy's "number", early on. I don't think Obama, or the World, for that matter, was prepared for the extreme nature of Putin's actions in Syria, and Eastern Europe, Like Nixon, it seems that both Putin and Trump have mastered the hocus-pocus techniques for convincing the Public that they did not do, whatever they were obviously engaging in! Trump has made the Wizard of Oz look like a piker with his ability to make people believe things that are preposterous to anyone with even limited intelligence. Blind Faith from Religions has been generously brewed with Trump's spell-binding skills, to convince his "BASE" that invective and raw hatred directed against individuals, are acceptable substitutes for FACT, Reason, or even Bible Verses!!

"How-in-HELL" did the USA get it's DEMOCRACY in so much TROUBLE??

We WILLFULLY "Ignored" more than 150 years of our HISTORY!!

Caught up in our Founder's desires to build a haven for White, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant, Male, Landowners; President Andrew Jackson and his rag-tag-Hooligans from the "Wilds" of our Lands, twisted that Franchise to include White Males who had no Wealth, or Breeding, or Education!! It has all been down-hill since 1830!

Rather than admit the truth about our Civil War and its immediate aftermath (JIM CROW), the romanticized, and preposterous fictions about that Tragedy became Hollywood "Classics" that persist in our culture in 2016! Our Children, a a result have their heads stuffed with nonsense that they believe is our HISTORY!! Shame on White Educators for that. Beginning around 1870 with JIM CROW, we elected Presidents, both Democrat and Republican who, first-and-foremost, preserved the National Myths about Slavery and moved our Nation steadily to the Political Right on all matters pertaining to the divide between White and Non-white Citizens. Outside the USA, the rest of the World's White Nations were busy with Apartheid and Colonialism, the Global equivalent for JIM CROW.

Along the way, Nation-States replaced Crowned Heads, and the Christian Religion steadily regained the power it held over Chattel Slavery and its Derivatives since they fomented it in Mexico (Bishop Las Casas using the Power of early Popes, and the Inquisition in the Americas)!! As a result, the Religious Right has aligned itself firmly with Fascist Dictators in Latin America and elsewhere.
