I Don't HAVE to BE ONE!;..and NEITHER do U!!
As Sam Greenlee says in his insightful work published in 1969, people may be "on their ass" ,but they don't HAVE to be "on their knees"! (emphasis added). Following this last month of March, in which our malignant Media took us on a psychic and deeply emotional "roller-coaster", as they they milked ratings, money, and competitive position from any and all of us, it should be obvious that very little of what they "report" as news can be believed -- not even partially!
We don't have to continue "On our knees"; before BIG MONEY, Corporations, and their paid "performers"; NOR before GUNS, of various types in various hands and various places; NOR before someone else's GOD!!
Then, we saw in March a sitting Senator of these United States, (of already questionable morals and patriotism ?), follow a sitting President of the United States States abroad to undermine the President's trust and credibility among our enemies and their allies (not separable in today's Media environment), and to destroy this nation's foreign policy! One hundred years ago, when Woodrow Wilson was engaged in a chillingly similar situation, attempting to head of what became World War II, the citizens of this country would have ripped his heart out (and, on T.V. if they had it then)!! Perhaps we need to revisit North Vietnam POW collaboration; Keating Five; and, then reconsider this guy's actions?? The Republican Party should have been whistling WHIG tunes shortly after Reagan showed up with his crap! It's not too late, you know.
Stay Vigilant! These are indeed times to try the souls of anyone who has one!
